PAC Diversity Matters Scholarship

What

ThePAC is passionate about increasing diversity in the PA profession. One way we live out our mission is by helping to decrease barriers that many students of color face when applying to and attending PA School. Completing this rigorous course of study is a huge accomplishment and one that should be awarded. As such, the Diversity Matters scholarship will help reduce the cost of educational expenses.

This scholarship will award 5 PA students (newly accepted or matriculated) $1000 each. BIPOC students who have been accepted to or are currently attending PA School are eligible to apply.

The application deadline is April 1st 2023. Winners announced May 1, 2023.

PA STUDENT EMERGENCY FUND

ThePAC recognizes that there are times during which a PA student may experience an acute, unexpected, or short-term hardship. To help alleviate stress that may affect student academic performance, ThePAC has a limited amount of funding set aside to assist BIPOC students in need of emergency financial assistance.

If you are a currently enrolled PA student in good standing, and are in need of an emergency grant, please email: info@physicianassistantsofcolor.org with subject heading "Emergency Grants."

We Help Support Your Education

Getting into PA school is a dream come true for so many aspiring physician assistants. However, statistics show that the costs associated with both applying and attending PA school present as challenges to many students of color.

Our organization seeks to alleviate these financial burdens for aspiring physician assistants of color through our scholarship and grant fund. Your monetary gift will go directly towards providing financial assistance for aspiring physician assistants of color. No gift is too small when you are helping to create change.
